KAIMH was formed in 1995 by a group of like-minded professionals who were, and continue to be, passionate about young children and their families. From a small group of professionals, to a state-wide association that provides opportunities for professional development, advocacy, and education, KAIMH is becoming a recognizable force in infant and early childhood mental health.
At KAIMH we enjoy sharing practical thoughts & evidence based training on a broad range of topics pertaining to healthy early relationships. This site also contains our vision, mission and events for people in and around our lives. Whether you are a parent, practitioner, physician, or educator, KAIMH is here to strengthen your awareness in the importance of healthy social emotional development.
There’s a long string of expertise and talents that form KAIMH and its membership. As we react and respond to the future of early childhood together, we begin to understand who we are and where we intend to go.
